The start of the year revolved around status hearings and discussions pertaining to the questions raised re the Constitution and other elements raised by the Fifth which Beck Redden attended on behalf of the Burkes’. Beck Redden said the Burkes’ did not need to attend these status hearings.

The end of the year, 22nd of Dec., 2017, the Hon. Judge Smith overruled Hopkins again and provided his Opinion on Remand.

The start of 2016 revolved around the Appeal filings and the final quarter of 2016 the Burkes’ found themselves back in court with the Hon. Judge Smith fighting for their home after the Fifth opinion.

After the Houston status hearing, the Court assigned Beck Redden to our case.

Sued Geithner, the Bank et al. in state court which was removed to Federal Court. Hired a lawyer that was too inexperienced but initially had talked a great game. Ended up firing him, reporting Judge Hughes and the result was we became defendants in the lawsuit rather than being the plaintiff.
